QA Automation Engineer

Alpha Affiliates is seeking a skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer with a focus on developing and maintaining automated end-to-end (E2E) tests using Playwright. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and executing comprehensive testing scenarios that ensure the stability and quality of our web application’s key business processes. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with strong technical expertise in JavaScript, UI testing, and database management to join a dynamic team working on innovative projects across web, mobile web, and progressive web apps (PWA).

• Develop and maintain automated E2E test cases using Playwright, with a focus on API interaction and user simulation.
• Design, execute, and manage complex test scenarios to ensure quality and performance across key business workflows.
• Collaborate closely with the development and product teams to ensure the highest standards of usability and functionality in the user interface.
• Integrate automated testing processes with our CI/CD pipelines, ensuring streamlined and reliable deployment.
• Use database management tools to create, read, and verify test data, supporting complex scenarios.
• Implement and execute API testing, with a focus on RESTful API principles, utilizing Postman and similar tools.
• Utilize Docker for server setup and maintenance for automated test environments.
• Collaborate on integrating API reporting to Telegram for real-time updates on testing status.

• JavaScript Expertise: Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable JavaScript code is essential.
• Playwright Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Playwright for developing and executing E2E tests.
• HTML/CSS Knowledge: Solid understanding of HTML/CSS to validate the UI functionality and visual integrity.
• Database Skills: Experience with SQLite or similar databases for managing and validating test data.
• API Testing Skills: Familiarity with RESTful API standards and experience using Postman for API testing.
• Docker Experience: Ability to set up and manage testing environments within Docker.
• Reporting Integration: Familiarity with the Telegram API for automated test reporting.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent Russian-speaking skills are required for effective communication with the team.
