Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and submission of applications for obtaining, renewing, and maintaining gaming licenses in multiple jurisdictions.
- Support legal aspects of the company’s operations in regulated markets, including corporate registrations, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including B2B contracts, White Label and Turnkey agreements, and supplier arrangements.
- Monitor regulatory developments in key jurisdictions and provide timely updates and recommendations to mitigate legal and compliance risks.
- Assist in developing and maintaining internal policies and procedures, including AML/KYC frameworks and data protection compliance (e.g., GDPR).
- Liaise with external legal advisors, regulators, and service providers in various jurisdictions on licensing and compliance matters.
- Prepare legal memos and guidance for internal teams, including product, marketing, and finance, on regulatory and contractual issues.
- Support intellectual property, consumer protection, and data privacy matters.
Requirements
Education:
- Degree in Law from a recognized university (preferably with a focus on international or corporate law).
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in a legal role within the iGaming, financial services, fintech, or other regulated industries.
- Experience working with licensing processes and regulatory authorities in multiple jurisdictions.
- Solid experience in drafting and reviewing contracts and advising on compliance matters.
- Prior work with AML/KYC requirements and understanding of GDPR.
- Experience liaising with external counsel and regulators is highly desirable.
